My name is Tanachot and I am from Bangkok, Thailand. Currently, I study at Istituto Marangoni London and work in my family business in Thailand. Even though my city is crowed, it’s still fascinating because of the food and people.
My typical breakfast would be a traditional Thai dish, called Pad Krapao. It is basically, fried pork with basil, rice and fried egg. However, I also enjoy having Patong Ko, with hot soy milk sometimes. All of these dishes are street food staples, easy to find in the morning on the streets of Bangkok.
For lunch time my favourite thing would be chicken with rice or Kao Mun Kai Jarn Yak from Sri Lueng Pochana near BTS Saphan Kwai station.
The ideal afternoon activity in Bangkok is to go shopping in the Chatujak market at BTS Mochit station. This is one of the most popular markets in Thailand that contains all of the products you can think of, from food to fashion items.
Neil's Tavern has one of the finest steaks in Bangkok, this make this place one of the best to have dinner.
In the evening, Bangkok will be crowed with people after work and students who just finished classes. I normally find myself chilling in a bar in Sukhumvit or Thonglor with my friends.
In Bangkok, people would normally be chilling in a café in Siam or a bar that has live music. However, If anyone want to hang out, there are a lot of great clubs in Eakkamai for them to enjoy.
For people who seek to do something different, there are many Go kart in Mueng Thong for people who love speed.
The best areas to stay would be Ekkamai, Siam, Thonglor, and Asok, which are all located in the centre of the city and also are near the public transportation.
I would recommend people to visit during Summer, especially between 13-15 April because there would be a very famous event called Songkran where people would be splashing water all over the city in the designated places.
In my opinion, Bangkok is best for a group of friends who love to shop, eat, and have fun.
